Bill received his Juris Doctorate degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1993. While at Brooklyn Law School, Bill focused his attention on estate planning, business planning and taxation courses. He was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award for Future Interests for excelling in his coursework.

Bill has practiced law in Kennebunk, Maine since 1993, then moved our primary office to the Alfred Professional Park on May 1, 2019. In 2004, he opened a second office in Fort Kent, Maine to serve clients in northern Maine. From 2012 to 2023 our New Hampshire office was located in Hampton, New Hampshire, but in October 2023, we moved to 155 Fleet Street in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

Bill is an active member of WealthCounsel, LLC, a national organization of estate planning attorneys. As a member of WealthCounsel, LLC, he has access to sophisticated document assembly software systems that enable him to draft highly customized documents to address each client’s unique situation.

In addition, Bill is a long-term member of the Massachusetts Forum of Estate Planning Attorneys and has served on its board of directors since 2020.

Bill is a founding member of the GunDocx Gun Law Community and has access to sophisticated software that enables his to draft customized gun trusts for his clients.

Bill is an affiliate attorney with the Asset Protection Council, which gives him the training and tools to assist clients with complex asset protection strategies, which often include offshore asset protection trusts blended with domestic asset protection entities.

Bill is admitted to practice law in Maine, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Texas.
